Can I use Chop Shop on a Mac OS?
Unfortunately, no. We simply haven't had enough demand for it and currently offer our software for PC only.

What is 3D Chop Shop?
3D Chop Shop is an exclusive software tool for bikers, painters, and shop owners. The program customizes Harley style motorcycles in a 3-D interactive environment. Chop Shop is designed to let you "try on" parts, accessories, and paint quickly and easily. Are you unsure how that paint pattern will actually look afer you spend a couple of grand? If so, then spend a few bucks on Chop Shop and avoid the hassle.

How does the software work?
Begin by selecting a bike model from our drop-down list. The bike appears in the viewing area within seconds. You may now interact with the 3-D bike model by using our interface or by clicking and dragging the bike. Once the bike loads in the viewing area, you may also use our paint interface to change the colors or patterns on the gas tank, fenders, and frame,
select from a large database of 3D parts and accessories for customizing the bike,
change camera views or activate animations, such as rotating the handlebars and spinning the wheels,
save your bike for later access, or load a bike file that you saved earlier.

How does the paint system work?
Our paint features are typically what people love the most. There are millions of combinations and styles you can work with since Chop Shop allows you to import your custom artwork. Forget spending hours coming up with designs in Photoshop - create some art by following our template system, launch the program, and then place it right on a bike for instant viewing. Chop Shop allows you to paint:
- with any solid color.
- with your own custom graphics!
- with many pre-installed patterns that you can then alter once you apply them to the bikes.
- the front fender, rear fender, and gas tank separately.

Do you plan on including any older bikes?
It is possible, but not guaranteed at this point. Although we receive a lot of feedback from those of you who are passionate about non-Evo models, the bottomline is that Chop Shop is a program for general visualization. We have enough models and parts right off the bat for you to build a bike that is similar to what you have. Since this program is a tool for you to make sure you will love your new paint job or new set of wheels, for example, there really isn't a need for precision and exact detail.
However, we do plan on releasing updates and hope to include several new parts and features for you to Build your Ride.

Does Chop Shop let me modify the front end?
Yes. With our software, you can view different styles of front ends (Springer, raked, etc.)

Do I need a very powerful computer in order to run this software?
No, nowadays any cheap computer from Bestbuy will work great, though an old computer may struggle with the program. System requirements include:
• Intel® Pentium III processor (or higher)
• Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
• 128 MB or more of RAM
• 50 MB of available hard-disk space
• 256-color monitor capable of 800 x 600 resolution
• Directx 5.2 or OpenGL (recommended)

What types of parts and accessories do you include in Chop Shop?
Chop Shop has a wide variety of parts and accessories, including: handlebars, mirrors, pipes, seats, gas tanks, fenders, wheels, rotors, forks, headlights, dashinators, and much more! In total, we are up to more than 300 3-D parts!
