Controlling the Bike

Chop Shop 2.0 has a new interface for controlling the 3-D bike. This interface is located
at the top right of the stage and is comprised of four icons that you can click.

From left to right, these icons control:

• Resetting the scene.
• Rotating the bike.
• Moving the bike from side to side...or up and down. This is useful for zooming in on
specific areas of the bike.
• Zooming.

To rotate, move, and zoom in on the bike, click the appropriate icon and then use
your mouse to interact with the bike. Simply click and drag to interact with the bike.

The reset button resets the position of the bike to the original configuration.

Version 2 also has shortcuts for controlling the bike models. For instance, right-clicking and dragging the mouse will always move the bike model from side to side and up/down. Also, if the "rotate" icon is depressed and you hold down both mouse buttons and drag, you can zoom in on the bike. Conversely, if the "zoom" icon is depressed and you hold down both mouse buttons and drag, you can rotate the bike. Once you become accustomed to using the mouse buttons in these ways, you will find that you no longer even need to click the icons at the top of the interface to control the bikes.
