File Commands

Chop Shop allows you to save and load work for future use and for printing and sharing. Create and compare your bike with other 3-D Chop Shop owners...or send your custom paint job to your local shop. It's that easy!

NOTES:
Version 2 now saves the textures of the bike. When you load your saved bike, you will see the paint job you created and not the default color.

Save Bike

Before clicking "save," make sure you make a note of where the file is being saved. Once saved, the bike will be loaded into the "Select Bike" drop down menu so you can quickly access it the next time you launch Chop Shop.

Load Bike

Click "load" to launch the window above and then locate the file that you want. The saved file will then load within a few seconds so you can continue customizing where you left off previously.

Other File Commands
Click "estimated price" to launch an HTML file with an estimated breakdown of the bike's cost, including the part prices and ID numbers.

Version 2.0 includes two new features that you should find useful. The first is a "screenshot" button that will allow you to save the 3-D bikes as a regular jpeg image file. When you click this button, a window will open prompting you to select a name and location for saving the file, just as you would save any other type of file onto your PC.

The second file command we have added is a print button that will allow you to print the 3-D scene when you have created your desired bike.

Clicking "help" will open these help files, and clicking "exit" will shut down Chop Shop.
